Principal Product Manager (SAP): Shape and govern the SAP-focused technology platform for corporate systems spanning Finance, HR, Procurement with an accent on architectural vision, standards-based reusable solutions, and alignment with technology strategy. Focus on owning end-to-end product strategy and roadmap, leading governance for SAP BTP and RISE PCE, ensuring platform reliability, security, scalability, and driving innovation.
Location: Hybrid (up to 1-2 days per week in the office) in Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, London, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, or Salford, UK
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 depending on skills and experience

What you will do
- Own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the technology platform, aligned to priorities.
- Define value propositions, outcomes, and success measures for internal services.
- Lead architectural direction and governance for SAP BTP, SAP RISE PCE, and hybrid platforms.
- Partner with stakeholders, delivery teams, and suppliers to balance demand, risk, and investment.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness throughout lifecycle.
- Identify risks and opportunities, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise technology platform or product.
- Strong architectural background in complex hybrid environments.
- Experience with SAP ecosystems, cloud platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
- Proficiency in Security, Identity, Hosting, and Networks.
- Strong understanding of service reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with product management, ITIL, or TOGAF practices.
- Experience in large, regulated, or public-sector organisations.
- Relevant professional certifications or advanced qualifications.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to shape strategy and translate into roadmaps.
