TL;DR

Senior Compliance Manager (Fintech): Managing regulatory risks across lending, savings, and investment products with an accent on 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) risk management and FCA compliance. Focus on translating complex regulatory requirements into practical business controls and ensuring adherence to Consumer Duty.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in London (2-3 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Provide pragmatic regulatory advice across various banking products and customer journeys.
• Review financial promotions and customer communications to ensure compliance.
• Act as the compliance subject matter expert on business projects and committees.
• Define smart, sustainable solutions to manage conduct risk.
• Drive education on compliance and regulatory risk management across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in compliance and regulatory risk within the financial services sector.
• Deep understanding of the FCA handbook, specifically COBS, BCOBS, CONC, and SYSC.
• Expertise in Consumer Duty and its application to regulatory guidance.
• Ability to lead compliance-led reviews and identify risk areas.
• Strong communication skills to balance business objectives with regulatory requirements.

• Experience with DISP (Dispute Resolution).
