What you will do

• Provide expert legal advice on UK financial services, consumer credit law, and payment services regulation.
• Advise on the design, launch, and lifecycle management of regulated financial products.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial, technology, and supplier agreements.
• Support regulatory change programs and horizon scan for emerging developments in financial services.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to develop robust policy, governance, and control frameworks.
• Manage engagement with the FCA and other regulators regarding notifications and supervisory interactions.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with significant post-qualification experience.
• Deep knowledge of UK consumer credit and financial services regulation.
• Proven track record advising on regulated products in a digital environment.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to translate complex regulation into practical advice.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at senior levels.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass required background checks.

• Experience with operational resilience, outsourcing, and data protection.
