What you will do

• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Growth, Research, and Safety teams to provide pragmatic legal guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Advise on product features, user flows, marketing initiatives, and data practices.
• Draft and review user-facing terms, privacy policies, and disclosures to ensure compliance.
• Support incident response, privacy risk assessments, and escalation processes related to product use.
• Monitor global AI regulatory developments and translate them into practical internal guidance and policies.

Requirements

• JD with active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (New York preferred).
• 6+ years of product counseling and privacy experience, with in-house experience strongly preferred.
• Experience counseling on AI models and working closely with Trust & Safety teams.
• Expertise in laws relevant to AI and SaaS, including data protection and consumer protection.
• Must be based in the United States.
