What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain global network and server infrastructure across data centers, VMware, and Azure cloud.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible or Puppet.
• Manage network security including FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and BGP routing protocols.
• Administer and secure Linux-based systems (Ubuntu/Debian) and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Act as the 3rd line escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers on technical best practices and translate business requirements into technical designs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience configuring and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Must be based in the UK (for either remote or hybrid arrangement).
• Expertise in Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) and automation tools like Puppet or Ansible.
• Experience with VMWare, FortiGate Firewalls, and Azure infrastructure management.
• RHCE, CCNA, or Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) certifications or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Certification.
• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
