TL;DR

Sales Development Representative Intern (Cybersecurity): Identifying and prospecting new accounts to drive demo bookings for a human risk management platform with an accent on lead generation and outbound communication. Focus on mapping company structures, mastering objection-handling techniques, and maintaining CRM data integrity.

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, VA (must work in office 4 days a week: Monday-Thursday)

What you will do

  • Map company structures and identify appropriate contacts from workable accounts.
  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to generate and schedule demo-ready leads.
  • Apply conversation best practices, including mirroring, labeling, and objection-handling.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain the CRM database to ensure data accuracy.
  • Shadow current SDRs and Account Executives to refine sales conversation skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams to analyze the hirify.global business model.

Requirements

  • Must be a current Junior or Senior university student.
  • Degree in Hospitality, Communications, Customer Service, Marketing, or Business Management/Administration.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to the greater Washington DC area.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and a positive, confident demeanor.
  • High level of resilience, tenacity, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
