Salary: $85,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Lead the full software development life cycle of cloud-based enterprise applications in a distributed environment.
• Design and develop cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP web services, and API Gateways.
• Develop clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews to improve engineering standards.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues and production performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, DevOps, and Product teams using Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
• Implement and recommend AI-assisted development practices to enhance tools and processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience building scalable enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency with Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with MySQL and at least one NoSQL database.
• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Apache Camel, and RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
• Must currently reside in the USA; no visa sponsorship or extensions provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular for web technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Domain knowledge of the Energy industry and related software systems.
