Salary: $124,749 - $196,225 (depending on US geographic pay zone)

What you will do

• Design and build APIs and microservices that power core customer experiences across the product suite.
• Architect distributed systems and solve complex architectural challenges involving performance and robustness.
• Drive complex projects autonomously from initial technical design through to launch and post-launch maintenance.
• Configure monitoring, telemetry, and build CI/CD pipelines to ensure high reliability and fault tolerance.
• Lead thorough code reviews, write detailed documentation, and resolve high-risk system bugs.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering, product, and platform teams on company-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in building and scaling distributed systems and backend microservices.
• Ability to own the entire software development lifecycle from architecture to maintenance.
• Proficiency in defining architectural standards and evaluating technical trade-offs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and backend telemetry/monitoring tools.
• Ability to mentor junior engineering team members and set best practice standards.
• Must be located in a country where hirify.global maintains a legal entity.
