Senior Product Manager (Autonomous Vehicle Simulation Evaluation)

Location: Hybrid; report to the Warren, Michigan or Sunnyvale, California office at least three times per week. GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship, and candidates must not require sponsorship or additional immigration support now or in the future.

Salary: $106,600–$192,700 per year, plus potential incentive pay.

What you will do

• Own the long-term product vision and strategy for simulation evaluation applications across autonomy capabilities, vehicle models, and simulation modalities.
• Drive a unified roadmap covering test-case and suite management, test triggering and execution, and analysis and evaluation workflows.
• Develop systems and processes for evaluating simulated driving to predict on-road performance and assessing on-road driving.
• Lead alignment across Embodied AI, Software Validation, Safety, Program, Product, infrastructure, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
• Represent internal customers and improve the scale, reliability, and insightfulness of evaluation applications.
• Establish and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of Simulation Evaluation products and support a data-driven culture.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of modern data and analytics technologies, including cloud data and data infrastructure.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive projects forward, and balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives.
• Strong writing skills for integrating product vision, strategy, and technical detail.
• Ability to work from and regularly report to the Warren, Michigan or Sunnyvale, California office.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
• Experience with evaluation, data, and metric products and pipelines.
• Experience managing products focused on machine-learning model development and evaluation.
