Senior Staff Product Manager, Vehicle Product Management

Location: Hybrid work from an hirify.global office at least 3 days per week in Mountain View, San Francisco, or Pittsburgh; additional office locations may be available.

Salary: $197,000–$316,000 per year in Mountain View or San Francisco; $179,000–$285,000 per year in Pittsburgh. Eligible for annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead product managers and coordinate priorities across the vehicle and hardware portfolio.
• Translate technical capabilities and operating-domain needs into customer value, product strategy, and hardware requirements.
• Define vehicle platform integration requirements and collaborate with user experience, industrial design, engineering, regulatory, legal, and safety teams.
• Manage hardware products from concept and prototype validation through OEM integration, serviceability, and field support.
• Build relationships with vehicle OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and hardware partners to align roadmaps and business priorities.
• Define product metrics and communicate strategy, roadmaps, plans, and priorities to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience or 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience leading product development for complex systems, especially hardware or production vehicles.
• Experience with volume hardware manufacturing or automotive-grade hardware development.
• Ability to work from an hirify.global office at least 3 days per week and authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with cross-functional software-hardware co-design, including perception, motion planning, or compute systems.
