What you will do

• Develop and execute strategies for zero-defect customer implementation and timely payroll delivery.
• Build, coach, and mentor implementation and customer service teams to ensure sustained high performance.
• Analyze performance data to design and implement scalable systems and processes for service improvement.
• Manage escalated customer issues, collaborating with IT and tax groups for timely resolution.
• Ensure payroll compliance, tax research, and report analysis for small to mid-sized businesses.
• Oversee SOC-1 audits and process integrity to maintain accountability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Kingwood, Texas
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in high-growth payroll operations and team leadership.
• CPP Certification is required
• Proven ability to hire, train, and manage professional teams.
• Broad knowledge of HR disciplines including taxation, benefits, and employment law.
