Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States; Atlanta, GA preferred)
Salary: $110,000 – $130,000

What you will do
- Process payroll accurately across multiple US states and jurisdictions in a timely manner.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local wage, hour, and tax regulations.
- Oversee payroll system functionality, upgrades, and integrations with HRIS, accounting, and benefits systems.
- Manage year-end activities, including W-2 and 1099 filings and other required reporting.
- Resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies professionally and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain internal payroll policies and controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of US payroll laws for organizations operating across 30+ states.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Nice to have
- Experience with UKG Ready.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification.
