What you will do

  • Prepare, validate, and process payroll for Italy and France according to schedules.
  • Handle employee enrollments, terminations, and period changes for accuracy.
  • Process adjustments, review reports, journal entries, and taxable benefits reconciliations.
  • Monitor entitlement balances, review legislation changes for compliance, and assist with year-end forms.
  • Address employee inquiries and prepare internal audit reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate on benefits for leaves of absence and disability paperwork.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Italian and international payroll
  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Italian (verbal and written); French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese as asset
  • Solid understanding of payroll methodology, taxes, and employment standards
  • Advanced mathematical, accounting, and bookkeeping skills
  • Technical competence in Google Suite and AI-driven tools
  • Excellent proofreading and communication skills
