What you will do

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing cross-functional team of backend and frontend engineers.
• Partner with Product Management and Architecture to shape, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap.
• Champion technical excellence by setting high standards for design, code quality, and system robustness.
• Drive cross-team initiatives and projects from concept to completion.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance through code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Attract and nurture top talent while promoting an inclusive and diverse team environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 10+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role as a team lead or engineering manager.
• Background in high-scale distributed systems, data streaming, or fleet management at scale.
• Experience building and deploying production SaaS software, including observability and on-call ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
