Salary: $245,000 – $270,000

What you will do
- Manage and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and pragmatic delivery.
- Lead the execution of agentic solutions for procurement contracting challenges and spearhead scalability improvements.
- Partner with Product and Design to ensure solutions satisfy customer needs and align with strategic objectives.
- Actively contribute to the codebase and use technical judgment to refine specifications and designs.
- Own and improve core systems to ensure they are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Implement AI tooling and define testing strategies for non-deterministic AI outputs to improve engineering velocity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production-grade web applications.
- 2+ years of experience in engineering management or technical leadership.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience incorporating AI into customer-facing product experiences.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco or New York City.
- Excellent spoken and written cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with modern AI tools for code development such as Claude Code or Cursor.
