Engineering Manager (Cloud Networking)

Salary: $207,000 – $275,000 (depending on tier/location)

What you will do

• Manage and coach a team of 5–7 engineers to improve decision-making and velocity.
• Design and optimize team systems, including planning, execution, and feedback loops.
• Review technical designs and assist in debugging complex issues.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape the product roadmap and technical direction.
• Foster psychological safety and raise the bar for performance and collaboration.
• Align team goals with hirify.global’s business and customer needs.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience (Go, Rust, Java, or C/C++).
• 4+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Strong experience with distributed systems and systems thinking.
• Ability to balance high-level strategy with deep-dive technical debugging.
• Clear and direct communication skills.

• Contributions to open source, blogs, or conferences.
• Experience in developer tools or product-led growth environments.
• Experience building teams in ambiguous, early-stage contexts.
