Salary: $273,600–$426,816 USD (tiered by location)

What you will do

• Define and execute vision and strategy for shared services platform aligning with company goals.
• Support and mentor managers and engineers with technical guidance and career development.
• Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies, including AI/ML into core services and workflows.
• Ensure quality, performance, security, and scalability of product lines following best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.

Requirements

• 15+ years software engineering experience, 10+ years in leadership
• Experience building and scaling AI-first engineering organizations and integrating AI/ML.
• Leading high-performance teams and building highly-available distributed back-end systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP.
• Experience in high-growth startups and established organizations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in San Francisco office 2 days/week and US work authorization
