TL;DR
Senior Manager, Sales Compensation: Lead the design, implementation, and administration of sales incentive programs with an accent on aligning with revenue goals, driving sales behaviors, and ensuring accurate payouts. Focus on Xactly platform administration, team leadership, stakeholder communication, dispute resolution, and providing analytics insights.
Location: Hybrid role based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA (office at least two days per week). This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 per year

What you will do
- Design annual and quarterly incentive plans partnering with revenue operations and executive leadership to align with company goals.
- Manage and mentor compensation analyst, overseeing monthly commission cycles for accuracy and on-time payouts.
- Communicate compensation details through training sessions and one-on-one support for sales reps.
- Handle inquiries, exceptions, and dispute resolution to maintain transparency and morale.
- Administer Xactly Incent platform, including plan modeling, formula auditing, and data integrity with Salesforce and Workday.
- Provide reporting, forecasting, and analytics to support finance and strategic pivots.
Requirements
- 7+ years in Sales Operations or Compensation, with 3+ years in management or lead role partnering with executives.
- Experience in high-change SaaS environments delivering results amid shifting priorities.
- Expert-level Excel (lookups, pivots, logic formulas) and CRM experience (Salesforce).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
