People Operations Manager

People Operations Manager (HRIS): Act as product manager for global People technology ecosystem with Workday as source of truth and integrations to Greenhouse, Lattice, Checkr, and Slack with an accent on scalable workflows, data integrity, and employee self-service. Focus on configuring systems, optimizing integrations, ensuring compliance, and driving user adoption through governance and enablement.

Location: Remote - United States. Work across many time-zones; may require occasional duties outside standard hours.

Salary: $108,000 - $170,000 (dependent on location, knowledge, skills, experience)

What you will do

• Lead configuration and administration of Workday with seamless syncs to Greenhouse, Lattice, Checkr, and Slack.
• Apply product management to People tools: set timelines, governance, conduct user interviews, and drive adoption.
• Design workflows for self-service, scalability, and reduced escalations.
• Manage Jira queue for People Systems: triage issues, root cause analysis, high-touch support.
• Partner with IT on integrations (EIBs, Studio, iPaaS) to maintain data flow and prevent silos.
• Ensure audit-ready data, compliance (GDPR, SOC2), security audits, and leadership insights.
• Roll out new features, update SOPs and guides.

Requirements

• 5+ years in People Systems/HRIS, 3+ years deep Workday config (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Security)
• Own projects end-to-end: problem to launch, multi-stream work, enablement, documentation.
• Product manager mindset for People tech stack.
• Admin experience with ATS (Talent Acquisition), Performance/Engagement tools, Tier 1-3 ticketing.
• EIBs, REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS for troubleshooting integrations.
• Data architecture knowledge for integrity across platforms.
• Translate technical requirements for diverse users.
• Comfortable with occasional work outside standard hours due to global time-zones
