What you will do
- Own and execute the enterprise regulatory strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term growth.
- Oversee regulatory investigations, inquiries, and enforcement actions across all jurisdictions and products.
- Lead the product advisory function, providing expert regulatory counsel for the entire suite of products.
- Manage and develop a multi-layered team of regulatory attorneys and professionals.
- Act as a key advisor to executive leadership and represent the company in high-visibility regulatory matters.
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Financial Crimes teams to integrate regulatory obligations into operations.
Requirements
- JD from a top-tier law school and active membership in at least one state bar.
- 15+ years of legal experience, preferably including work as a regulator, prosecutor, or at a nationally recognized law firm.
- Demonstrated success in regulatory engagement and influencing outcomes with external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead complex investigations and operationalize regulatory frameworks.
- Significant experience managing and developing senior-level professional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Must be based in or able to work from New York City (Hybrid).

- Prior experience working directly as a regulator.
- Experience in a highly regulated or publicly traded company.
