Salary: $140,000 – 175,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead response strategies for regulatory inquiries and examinations from state agencies, the CFPB, and State Attorneys General.
• Manage the nationwide licensing program to facilitate product expansion and maintain multi-jurisdictional compliance.
• Oversee the consumer litigation portfolio, including claims related to FCRA, TCPA, and FDCPA.
• Partner with Product and Operations to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business guidance.
• Review consumer-facing communications to ensure alignment with UDAAP, SCRA, and applicable state laws.
• Analyze complaint trends to implement durable operational fixes and reduce future regulatory exposure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience advising in consumer financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active admission to the State Bar of California.
• Proven experience managing consumer financial services litigation (FCRA, TCPA, FDCPA).
• Ability to distill complex legal issues into concise, actionable guidance for business partners.
• Must be based in Los Angeles, CA for a hybrid schedule (Monday-Thursday in office).
