Salary: $262,700 - $371,700 USD (Santa Clara) / $212,300 - $330,440 CAD (Burnaby) plus corporate bonus

What you will do

• Manage agile development teams in a CI/CD environment to deliver high-quality SaaS products on a shared microservice platform.
• Drive the full product development lifecycle from requirements to delivery in collaboration with product management.
• Champion engineering best practices including design, architecture, performance, and quality standards.
• Prioritize and manage resource allocations and budgets based on evolving business priorities.
• Attract, recruit, and mentor top talent to build and scale high-performing engineering teams.
• Collaborate with executive management to identify and execute on technical opportunities.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software technology with at least 8 years of experience mentoring high-performance teams.
• Proven track record of leading Security or Networking teams to deliver enterprise SaaS applications.
• Strong architecture skills and the ability to resolve complex technical challenges across multiple groups.
• Deep knowledge of Agile processes and CI/CD environments specifically for SaaS.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS) and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Go, C/C++, Java, or Python, and a Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or EE.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DNS and DHCP protocols.
• Expertise in database design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Master's degree in CS, CE, or EE.
