Salary: $125,000 - $144,000

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of embedded software engineers, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex embedded software projects.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, design, and implementation for embedded systems.
• Mentor and coach team members to support career growth and skill development.
• Implement engineering best practices and drive process improvements across the software discipline.
• Manage resource planning, project scheduling, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of embedded software development experience.
• 3–5 years of experience managing or leading a software development team.
• Proficiency in C++, C, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with RTOS (VxWorks, QNX, FreeRTOS), Embedded Linux, and classified environments (DoD, IC).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Angular and Qt/QML for UI development.
• Strong understanding of UDP/TCP protocols, multicast networking, and DDS (Data Distribution Service).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitLab CI.
• Working knowledge of DoD software assurance, RMF, and STIG compliance.
