What you will do

• Function as a lead engineer or technical specialist focusing on Relay Settings.
• Develop logic programming and relay setpoint files for transmission lines, transformers, and circuit breakers using digital and legacy relays.
• Provide technical guidance for NERC compliance studies (PRC 24, 19, 25, 27) for renewable integration substations.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables and perform protective relay fault calculations.
• Oversee technical drawing designs, including one-lines, three-lines, and protection & control schematics for substation equipment.
• Manage assigned budgets, schedules, and quality requirements while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (5+ years experience) or Master’s degree (3+ years experience).
• Must have passed the PE exam.
• Hands-on experience with SEL and GE protection relays.
• Proficiency with software tools: SEL Quickset AccSELerator, SEL Architect, ETAP, ASPEN, CAPE, and Mathcad.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850 (GOOSE, MMS, and SV) and its implementation.
• Must have valid US work authorization without requiring current or future sponsorship.
