What you will do

• Lead the engine design community (hardware, software, lab performance) from requirements definition through to production and maintenance.
• Deliver 7.2L – 9.3L diesel platform solutions meeting quality, velocity, and cost requirements.
• Represent platform engineering within manufacturing, quality, purchasing, marketing, and product support functions.
• Manage project timelines, factory change planning, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Provide technical problem solving for current and legacy engines to improve Built-In Quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or any accredited engineering field.
• Extensive experience in providing technical solutions and mentoring other engineers.
• Proven expertise in project management, including cost and time estimation.
• Ability to form and manage effective teams and facilitate goal-setting.
• Must be based in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Required to work onsite five days a week.
