TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Federal IT): Driving growth for hirify.global Technology and Red Hat product teams within the US federal market with an accent on pipeline alignment, joint account planning, and procurement monitoring. Focus on qualifying high-value federal IT opportunities ($1M+), managing strategic alliances, and navigating complex FAR/DFAR acquisition processes.

Location: Must be based in the US (Virginia, Maryland, or Washington DC area). hirify.global will not provide visa sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Manage the operating rhythm with hirify.global Technology and Red Hat teams, including quarterly business reviews and joint account planning.
  • Monitor and qualify federal procurement opportunities via SAM.gov, GovWin, and agency forecast portals.
  • Coordinate joint go-to-market activities, including funded proof-of-concepts and technical resource allocation.
  • Track practice pipeline data, qualification scores, and conversion metrics against annual targets.
  • Partner with Account Leaders to prepare for client engagements and assemble accelerator assets.
  • Surface market intelligence and procurement trends to inform sales enablement and demand signals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in federal business development, capture management, or alliance management.
  • Deep understanding of federal procurement cycles and contract vehicles (GWAC, BPA, IDIQ, GSA Schedule) and FAR/DFAR requirements.
  • Experience managing vendor or SI partnership relationships in a matrixed organization.
  • Proven track record of identifying and qualifying federal IT opportunities with deal sizes of $1M+.
  • Working familiarity with research tools such as SAM.gov and GovWin, Bloomberg Government, or Deltek.
  • Must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Red Hat, hirify.global Technology, or hybrid cloud/infrastructure products in the federal market.
  • Active security clearance (Secret or above).
  • Experience with DoD and Intelligence Community procurement (JWCC, Platform One).
  • Background in FinOps, IT cost optimization, or cloud economics within federal agencies.
