TL;DR

Business Development Representative (AI): Managing inbound inquiries and qualifying prospects for the Agentic Data Plane infrastructure with an accent on technical discovery and pipeline generation. Focus on building relationships with engineering and architecture teams and optimizing the buyer experience.

Location: Hybrid: Austin, TX (minimum 3 days/week on-site)

Salary: $70,000 (base)

hirify.global is pioneering the Agentic Data Plane (ADP), a new category in AI infrastructure that connects AI agents with enterprise data and systems.

What you will do

  • Respond to inquiries and conduct discovery conversations to understand business initiatives, technical requirements, and buying intent.
  • Qualify opportunities and ensure high-quality handoffs to Account Executives.
  • Build relationships with engineering, platform, infrastructure, data, and architecture teams.
  • Partner with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality, campaign performance, and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account information within Salesforce.
  • Achieve and exceed pipeline generation and conversion targets.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as BDR, SDR, sales, or consulting.
  • Must be based in Austin, TX for a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days/week on-site).
  • Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience using Salesforce and modern sales engagement tools like Gong, Outreach, or Salesloft.
  • Proven ability to meet goals in a performance-driven environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling technical B2B software.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, or streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka).
  • Experience with qualification methodologies such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or BANT.
  • Experience in high-volume inbound or product-led growth environments.
