What you will do

• Conduct time studies and work measurements to establish standard work and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze production data such as cycle time, downtime, scrap, and yield to support continuous improvement.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, waste reduction, and Kaizen events.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to improve process reliability and efficiency.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or process-related equipment issues.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and visual management tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, specifically for data analysis, charts, and pivot tables.
• Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, or automation.
• Experience with data visualization tools, CAD, PLCs, or manufacturing systems (ERP/MES).
• Introductory knowledge of statistics or quality tools.
