What you will do

• Perform thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets before underwriting.
• Assemble complete loan packages and verify all required documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with mortgage regulations including RESPA, TIL, HMDA, and Reg B.
• Communicate with customers, loan originators, and third-party vendors to obtain necessary documentation.
• Manage the loan pipeline and submit reports within allotted turnaround times.
• Train and supervise new loan processors and other processing personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• Working knowledge of RESPA, Regulation Z, and Regulation B requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Encompass software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
