What you will do

• Install access control, CCTV, and intercom systems, including rack and enclosure build-outs and panel terminations.
• Interpret drawing packages, BOM lists, and programming matrices to execute system installations.
• Manage job schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of installations.
• Maintain detailed technical records of work, project issues, and site inventory using OneNote.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, often acting as the primary senior field supervisor.
• Perform comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of installed devices and head-end work.

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent experience installing access control and video surveillance in large-scale commercial environments.
• Proficiency with security systems such as Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Honeywell, Software House, Bosch, or DMP.
• Ability to perform mechanical retrofitting of door frames and gates for electric locking hardware.
• Knowledge of network interfaces for connecting IP cameras, controllers, and switches.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain security clearances (e.g., DCJS, TS Clearance).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Sterling, VA, USA.
