Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician

TL;DR

Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician: Calibrate and maintain production line and facilities equipment with high precision commercial and custom-made systems with an accent on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Salary: $28/hr - $38/hr

What you will do

• Proactively perform preventative maintenance on production and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
• Assemble and test new production equipment.
• Track maintenance and repairs using electronic log systems.
• Purchase spare parts and contact vendors/service providers.
• Collaborate with operators to resolve equipment issues.
• Be on call every other weekend and sustain 5S standards in work area.

Requirements

• High school or technical school diploma.
• Solid troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams/manuals.
• 3-5 years as manufacturing equipment maintenance technician.
• Experience with complex processes, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
• Work independently; Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with high precision placement equipment (wirebonders, SRO, vacuum pumps, chillers).
• Experience with optical components and alignment.
• Experience in medical/optical environment.
