What you will do

• Perform all aspects of testing and maintenance for electrical power distribution systems up to 15 kV class.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex electrical systems, simple relay systems, and power metering.
• Act as the lead person on projects, overseeing technical execution and project deliverables.
• Write detailed technical reports and process job billing using computer tools.
• Develop job proposals, including man-hour estimates, scope of work, and pricing.
• Perform power system studies, including short circuit and protective device coordination.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Degree in BSEE/BSME or equivalent technical school/military training with 3-4 years of experience.
• Passed NETA (National Electrical Testing Association) exam.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and NFPA standards.
• Strong background in switchgear testing through the 15 kV class.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel (20%) and work flexible hours/weekends.
