What you will do

• Develop electrical designs including single-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, grounding, cable sizing, and raceway layouts for low-voltage systems across international standards.
• Run protective device coordination, arc flash, and short-circuit studies using SKM, ETAP, or equivalent, producing field-ready labels and reports.
• Review vendor submittals for UPS, batteries, switchgear, PDUs, and generators; hold vendors accountable and flag issues early.
• Support manufacturing with RFIs, layout resolutions, and factory testing; contribute to compliance with international codes and AHJs.
• Produce engineering documentation like design basis memos and commissioning procedures; collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Support field commissioning, troubleshooting, and occasional international travel to sites and events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
• 3–7 years post-degree experience in electrical design, with 2+ years in data centers, mission-critical facilities, or complex power distribution
• Demonstrated knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70) and ideally IEC-based codes; hands-on with protection coordination and arc flash software (SKM, ETAP, etc.)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical/Revit MEP and Bluebeam Revu; familiarity with UPS, switchgear, transformers, and generator integration
• Ability to read interdisciplinary drawings and catch conflicts; clear written communication for RFIs, reviews, and memos

Nice to have

• PE or EIT licensure
• Experience with modular/prefab data centers, high-density liquid-cooled GPUs, advanced battery chemistries, and NFPA standards for mission-critical installs
• Knowledge of BMS/DCIM integration and coordinating with multiple AHJs/international insurers
• Working with manufacturing partners across time zones
