Structural Engineering Professional (Advanced Industrial Facilities)

Location: Greenville, South Carolina 29607, United States; field walks at industrial job sites are required.

Salary: $99,800–$133,100 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze and design traditional steel and concrete structures for advanced manufacturing and general industrial facilities.
• Apply IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC requirements, including wind and seismic provisions.
• Own assigned structural scopes and deliverables, including schedule, budget, quality, and scope-change tracking.
• Coordinate structural requirements with multidisciplinary engineering teams and produce 3D models and construction documents.
• Perform self-checks and peer calculation reviews, conduct field walks, and verify existing conditions or installations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• At least 4 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with US building codes and seismic design.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to perform field walks, stand for extended periods, and navigate industrial sites, including ladders or confined spaces.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience designing industrial facilities.
