Structural Engineering Professional (Advanced Industrial Facilities)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $93,600–$108,200 per year.

What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design for conventional steel and concrete structures.
• Apply US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC, with emphasis on wind and seismic lateral analysis.
• Own assigned structural scopes and deliver accurate, cost-effective deliverables on schedule.
• Define task requirements, forecast effort, and identify potential scope changes for the Structural Lead.
• Self-check calculations and verify peer work as part of quality control.
• Coordinate structural requirements with designers, multidisciplinary leads, design documents, and 3D models.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.
• At least two years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Foundational knowledge of US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team-centric, matrixed environment.
• Reliable home internet service to meet project performance requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in structural or civil engineering.
• Experience with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
