What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design for traditional steel and concrete structures under general supervision.
• Apply US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC, focusing on wind and seismic lateral analysis.
• Take full ownership of assigned structural scopes, ensuring deliverables are accurate and cost-effective.
• Perform self-checks and verification checks on calculations to maintain high quality control.
• Coordinate with Structural Designers to ensure requirements are accurately reflected in 3D models and documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a matrixed team environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree (MS) in Structural Engineering.
• Experience with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
