TL;DR

Revenue Operations Manager (Compensation): Translating sales strategy into tangible goals and owning the compensation model for incentive-based employees with an accent on sales planning, quota setting, and commission automation. Focus on building new compensation structures for new segments and developing tracking dashboards to optimize sales performance.

Location: Must be based within commuting distance of Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York City hubs

Salary: $140,000 – $155,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Build sales compensation models and inform OKR-setting using forecasting and in-depth analyses.
  • Manage the sales planning cycle by setting and tracking quota targets across various Sales teams.
  • Develop new compensation structures for emerging partnerships and customer segments.
  • Create dashboards for compensation tracking and payouts to inform the improvement of the commission model.
  • Collaborate with Finance to facilitate accurate and timely commission payouts.
  • Drive the standardization and automation of all processes related to commission-setting and tracking.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced organization.
  • Proven track record of working with sales organizations and developing sales compensation models.
  • Deep analytical experience using SQL and dashboarding tools in daily work.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and build processes from 0 to 1.
  • Must be based within commuting distance of Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York City.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Sigma, Hex, and Salesforce.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup, marketplace, or creator-focused platform.
  • Passion for creator communities and live ecommerce.
  • Experience buying and selling in online marketplaces.
