Salary: $160,500 – $236,250

What you will do

• Lead the authorization process for reactor deployment in collaboration with military partners.
• Manage end-to-end licensing execution, including safety analysis and physical protection plans.
• Coordinate customer relationships, deliverables, and contract compliance.
• Drive project execution by partnering with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
• Oversee technical team execution of design reviews and regulatory documentation.
• Provide mentorship and management to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (nuclear, mechanical, electrical, computer science, or similar).
• 5+ years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably with NRC or DOE nuclear programs.
• Experience interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements to streamline processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
• Must work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and comply with U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Experience in agile hardware development environments.
• Expertise in emergency preparedness, fire protection, safety analysis, or radiation protection.
• Ability to translate complex system designs into formal license applications.
