Engineering Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Fintech): Leading the Margin team to build and scale lending systems and risk evaluation pipelines with an accent on reliability and regulatory compliance. Salary: $180,000 – $270,000 USD (Base pay depends on location zone)

What you will do

• Lead and support a team of engineers, focusing on goal setting, feedback, and career growth.
• Define and execute technical plans to improve reliability, latency, and scalability for margin services.
• Collaborate with product, risk, legal, and data teams to deliver regulatory-compliant features.
• Establish engineering processes for code reviews, incident response, and system monitoring.
• Use system metrics (uptime, latency, error rates) to guide prioritization and improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Strong technical expertise in distributed systems, backend services, or financial systems.
• Experience building systems requiring high reliability, data accuracy, and regulatory awareness.
• Ability to use data and metrics to inform technical and operational decisions.
• Clear communication skills for aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders.
