What you will do

• Lead the design and development of .NET C# applications for CLO portfolio management, focusing on Private Debt and Syndicated Loans.
• Develop complex financial calculations for risk, P&L, exposure analysis, and waterfall calculations.
• Design and tune SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and ETL processes for high-volume financial data.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and risk teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and mentor engineering staff to ensure high code quality.
• Manage system scalability and reliability within a highly efficient Agile development environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT with 3+ years of leadership experience including mentoring and guiding engineering staff.
• Advanced expertise in .NET C#, SQL Server database design, and object-oriented programming (OOP) patterns.
• Deep domain knowledge of the financial services industry, specifically Private Credit and Syndicated Loans.
• Strong experience with ETL processes and complex financial modeling.
• Must be based in the US and able to work in a hybrid model in New Jersey.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Familiarity with generative and agentic AI development techniques and processes.
