Senior Systems Admin – MSSP (L3) | AU | WFH

Location: WFH from the Philippines; working hours are 9:00 AM–6:00 PM AEST, equivalent to 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Philippines time.

What you will do

• Own and resolve complex technical issues end-to-end as the senior L2/L3 escalation point.
• Take technical ownership of assigned client environments and make independent operational decisions.
• Provide escalation support and guidance to junior engineers.
• Maintain and optimise Microsoft, cloud, network, and virtualisation infrastructure.
• Drive improvements in security, performance, standardisation, and environment stability.
• Contribute to infrastructure and security projects, automation, and AI-driven operational enhancements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a senior systems administrator or equivalent role.
• Experience managing complex network environments or working in an MSP or MSSP.
• Strong expertise with Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server.
• Advanced networking skills across routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, wireless, and SD-WAN.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Metallic.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and operational practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with MSSQL or Oracle.
