Available to candidates across Canada (excluding Quebec) and the US. If located near hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto), expected in office minimum twice per week on Anchor Days.

What you will do

• Partner with Product and Engineering to define experience design strategy and success metrics using research insights.
• Build customer intuition through direct engagement and advocate for needs in cross-functional decisions.
• Lead end-to-end design for desktop app: vision, prototyping, testing, and execution across Windows and Mac.
• Apply native desktop conventions (Windows/macOS HIG) for authentic platform experiences.
• Deliver polished, accessible designs and contribute to design system improvements for consistency.
• Drive alignment via storytelling, decision framing, and collaboration; mentor through execution.

Requirements

• 6+ years in product design; B2B SaaS preferred
• Demonstrated experience designing native desktop apps for Windows/macOS with platform knowledge
• Track record shipping high-quality work impacting metrics
• Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, usability, visual design
• Customer-centric practice translating insights to design
• Experience with AI-powered features and user-centered ML/generative AI
• Proficient in design/prototyping tools and AI tools (e.g., Claude, Figma Make)
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
