What you will do
- Own the full sales cycle for accounts with under 250 employees, focusing on speed and technical depth.
- Engage with data engineers and platform architects to map use cases to capabilities.
- Serve as a technical advisor by troubleshooting schema design and ingestion patterns.
- Convert usage signals from self-serve and product-led customers into commercial contracts.
- Partner with Solutions Engineers and internal Product/Engineering teams to advocate for customer needs.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and contribute to technical sales playbooks.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong technical foundation (experience as a data engineer, solutions architect, or software engineer).
- Proficiency with the modern data stack (columnar databases, Kafka, Kinesis, cloud infrastructure, and SQL).
- Prior customer-facing experience in pre-sales, technical account management, or solutions engineering.
- Ability to drive urgency in short sales cycles and remove technical blockers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with , DuckDB, Druid, Pinot, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
