What you will do

• Own the financial model, forecast, and annual planning for Premium Subscriptions (Channels business).
• Analyze subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement metrics to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Analytics to translate roadmaps and partner contracts into business cases.
• Build reusable frameworks for sizing growth initiatives, pricing changes, and promotional strategies.
• Implement AI and tooling to automate and scale FP&A workflows.
• Lead finance work-streams for international expansion, including market sizing and launch economics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
• 8+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Expert-level Excel skills and extensive experience building complex financial models.
• Deep understanding of subscription business mechanics, including cohort analysis and unit economics.
• Must be based in Santa Monica and able to work in the office Monday through Thursday.

Nice to have

• Experience in tech, media, or DTC subscription/streaming businesses (SVOD).
• Practical experience experimenting with AI and automation to improve knowledge work.
