FP&A Analyst

TL;DR

FP&A Analyst (Legal Tech): Own reporting and analysis of key company-wide operating expenses, driving accurate forecasting and informed decision-making with an accent on spend tracking, variance analysis, and scenario modeling. Focus on building bottoms-up forecasts, developing AI-driven processes, and creating real-time dashboards for business partners.

Hybrid: based in Raleigh NC, Denver CO, Philadelphia PA, Chicago IL, or New Jersey with expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week.

$95,000 to $125,000 base salary + company bonus plan.

What you will do

• Partner with department leaders to track spend, flag variances, and drive budget accountability.
• Build and maintain bottoms-up expense forecasts across functional cost centers.
• Analyze headcount and vendor trends and risks.
• Support rolling forecast cycles with scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
• Create AI-driven processes to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards for real-time spend visibility.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Working knowledge of SaaS revenue concepts and key drivers.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with strong organization, communication, and follow-through.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar FP&A tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools or automation in financial reporting.
• Exposure to GTM, Sales, or Revenue Operations environments.
