Senior Portfolio Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design credit origination policies, limit setting, pricing guardrails, and collections feedback loops from scratch.
• Manage risk appetite and maintain live dashboards to monitor portfolio performance and explain metric drivers.
• Perform advanced portfolio analytics including segmentation, stress-testing, cohort analysis, and vintage tracking.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed risk controls into product specifications and customer journeys.
• Work closely with finance and second-line defense teams to ensure sustainable growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in credit risk or data-driven roles (finance, collections, data science) within retail or consumer lending.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for hands-on data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of scorecard design and the use of alternative data for credit decisioning.
• Knowledge of financial mathematics, profitability components, and accounting principles.
• English: B1 level or higher required for communication with an international team.
• Location: Must be based in or relocate to Colombia.

Nice to have

• Spanish language proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Mathematics; MBA or CFA certification.
