Investor Relations Specialist (Finance)

Location: New York City, New York, United States; hybrid home/office schedule

Salary: $88,000–$154,000 base pay per year, plus annual bonus or commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Support investor communications, including press releases, executive messaging, earnings scripts, and quarterly earnings presentations.
• Manage the Investor Relations calendar across quarterly earnings cycles, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and presentations.
• Assist with reviews of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, earnings releases, conference materials, and investor presentations.
• Support the earnings process by preparing scripts, press releases, Q&A materials, presentations, and other preparation documents.
• Monitor analyst publications, conference transcripts, and peer-company earnings materials to provide insights to management.
• Build relationships with executives, analysts, investors, and internal Finance, Marketing, Legal, and business leadership teams.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, and/or Capital Markets.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with executives, analysts, and investors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• Organizational strength and industry expertise, with the ability to manage multiple earnings and investor-relations activities.

Nice to have

• Background in banking and brokerage, business services, SaaS, or B2B industries.
• Advanced degree or MBA.
