What you will do
- Manage the Australia Production team, fostering development and a supportive environment.
- Assess projects, assign tasks to team/freelancers, oversee progress, and solve complex issues.
- Provide production expertise for feasibility, planning, tools, and processes.
- Maintain freelancer/service provider directory and industry network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment and execution.
- Scale major Original IPs, research vendors/technologies, handle procurement/permits/insurance.
- Manage admin duties like expenses, invoicing, contracts; support new event development.
Requirements
- 7+ years in live event production, immersive experiences, or permanent attractions.
- 1-2 years people management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in fast-paced settings.
- Innovative, solution-focused mindset with leadership and prioritization skills.
- Broad vendor/venue network; experience with permitting/regulations.
- Strong technical production knowledge and basic fabrication understanding.
Nice to have
- Experience as construction manager or in theater construction/contractor management.
