Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid and home-office friendly, with domestic and international travel required

What you will do
- Lead and develop the Australia production team delivering touring and recurring Originals experiences across Australia and New Zealand.
- Assess regional projects, allocate work to team members or freelancers, and manage multiple productions and deliverables.
- Oversee venue procurement, permits, insurance, technical validation, venue preparation, equipment movement, trucking plans, and site logistics.
- Own build costing, monitor budgets, identify cost overruns, and support production planning and feasibility assessments.
- Coordinate internal teams, partners, brands, agencies, talent, vendors, and service providers to deliver events.
- Support new event formats, emerging technologies, production tools, and the scaling of ’s original intellectual properties.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in live event production, experiential events, immersive experiences, or permanent attractions.
- 1–2 years of people management experience, including team development and personnel management.
- Strong knowledge of event permitting, local government approvals, planning, building, and signage requirements.
- Experience navigating Australian liquor licensing regulations and knowledge of BCA requirements, safety standards, and fire codes.
- Strong understanding of technical production requirements, basic fabrication techniques, vendor and venue networks, and production budgets.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate with stakeholders, work hands-on, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience managing the production and delivery of permanent attractions.
- Experience as a construction manager or in theater construction involving contractor management.
