Manager: Capital Projects

Location: Coolangatta, Queensland, Australia, based in the Coolangatta Support Office; regular travel across Australia is required.

What you will do

• Lead capital works projects across the parks and resorts portfolio from planning through completion.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to a small team of Project Managers.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Partner with operational teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to guests.
• Conduct site visits across Australia, monitor progress, resolve issues, and build stakeholder relationships.
• Drive quality, compliance, governance, asset improvement, and enhanced guest experiences.

Requirements

• Experience leading capital works, construction, refurbishment, facilities, infrastructure, or property projects.
• Proven people leadership experience, including mentoring, developing, and motivating a team.
• Strong project management capability and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, budgets, and project schedules.
• Collaborative leadership style, strong commercial acumen, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel across the national network of parks and resorts.
