Project Manager - Energy Engineering

Location: Richmond, VIC, with Sydney or Melbourne locations available; interstate and intrastate travel required

What you will do

• Lead the rollout of Energy Building Management Systems across Dan Murphy’s stores and assess expansion to BWS and the hotel network.
• Deliver the Energy BMS implementation on schedule, within budget, and against business-case objectives.
• Coordinate integrations and handovers across refrigeration, HVAC, lighting, security, IT, and facilities management teams.
• Oversee control-system deployments, legacy transitions, verification reports, and remote-monitoring integration.
• Manage vendors, suppliers, contractors, project dependencies, risks, reporting, and expected benefits.
• Mentor project team members and business partners while building long-term delivery capability.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally delivering complex projects or programs with benefits exceeding $5 million.
• Experience leading sustainable energy program implementations in a commercial environment.
• Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business, plus PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification.
• Understanding of technical integrations across IT, security, and building management systems.
• Advanced communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
• Willingness to travel interstate and intrastate as required.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail or hospitality environments.
• Experience with large-scale or national BMS rollouts.
• Trade qualification in refrigeration, air conditioning, or electrical engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
