TL;DR

Technical Sales Engineer (Renewable Energy): Acting as a bridge between engineering, product strategy, and sales to translate complex technical wind turbine specifications into value-driven messages with an accent on technical communication and market positioning. Focus on supporting local sales teams with technical proposals and managing technical expectations of key international customers.

Location: Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid: up to 8 days of mobile work per month)

What you will do

  • Act as the technical interface between Global Engineering, Product Management, and Sales teams.
  • Own selected technical focus areas and serve as the global contact person for these domains.
  • Support local sales teams with technical proposals and lead complex customer negotiations.
  • Develop and continuously improve global technical standards, tools, and processes.
  • Engage with key customers to manage technical expectations and collect market feedback for product development.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer through training and clear technical communication.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, ideally in electrical engineering, communication engineering, or power systems.
  • Strong combination of technical expertise and a commercial mindset.
  • Experience in engineering or technical sales, or strong motivation to transition into this role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for international environments.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Hamburg, Germany.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in German or Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 5%).
